At 13, Leanna Archer became the youngest teen CEO to ring the opening bell for the NASDAQ stock market in 2008.
Leanna Archer started her successful enterprise Leanna’s Inc. a line of natural hair and body care products at nine years old. Leanna’s line includes shampoos, conditioners, lotions and more, infused with avocado, hibiscus and other natural oils. All of Archer’s products are available online.
Now 16, Leanna earns an annual revenue of more than $100,000 per year.
Leanna Archer is a motivational speaker that has been featured at Black Enterprise’s Teenpreneur’s Conference, has been a panelist at the “ What Makes A young Champion” Forum in Singapore, and was a speaker at the 2009 NAACP Youth Workshop, where she was honored for her entrepreneurialism. Apple has even sought after Leanna and requested her attendance at the 2010 Education Leadership Summit.
In 2008, Leanna founded the Leanna Archer Education Foundation, an organization devoted to providing better opportunities for underprivileged children in Haiti. Leanna’s goal is to build schools in Haiti, while providing a Safe learning environment for over 150 students.
